Adopting approved agents

In an enterprise workspace, your team adopts agents from a catalog your IT administrators have already reviewed and approved. You get the same speed and choice as browsing the public Rival marketplace, plus the confidence that everything in your catalog already meets your company’s standards.

Curating the catalog lets your organization move fast without sacrificing oversight:

  • Reviewed once, trusted every time — workspace administrators evaluate each agent’s instructions, connected tools, data access, and risk level a single time, so your team can adopt with confidence instead of reviewing each one themselves.
  • Consistent compliance — every agent in your catalog already aligns with your company’s data privacy and security policies, so adopting one never means a compliance surprise later.
  • One source for automation — a shared, governed catalog means your team always has an approved option ready, with no need to look for automation elsewhere.

Think of it like a company-approved vendor list: your team has real freedom to pick and deploy tools operating safely within boundaries established by leadership.

Adopting an agent into your workspace takes only a few simple steps.

  1. Open the enterprise marketplace — navigate to the Marketplace tab in your workspace. The catalog displays assets pre-approved for your specific department or role.

  2. Review agent capabilities — click on an agent card to review its operational focus, attached functions, required connectors, and any actions that require human approval.

  3. Adopt into workspace — click Adopt. An independent instance of the agent is copied directly into your personal workspace inventory, ready to run immediately.

For what the catalog looks like and what each listing shows, see Agent marketplace.

If you identify a business need for an agent or tool that is not currently listed in your approved catalog, you can request access directly through the platform:

  • Submit an access request — click Request Access on the desired asset or submit a custom request specifying your business use case.
  • Administrative review — the request routes directly to your workspace administrator for security and policy evaluation. Admins work these in Requests.
  • Team-wide publishing — when an admin approves the request, they can grant access to you individually or publish it to the catalog for your entire department, ensuring the next colleague does not have to request it again.

Consider a new marketing manager who needs an agent to assist with drafting campaign copy:

  1. Catalog search — the manager searches the team catalog but finds that the social copy agent is not yet listed in their approved shelf.
  2. Access request — the manager submits an in-app request detailing how the agent will be used for upcoming quarterly campaigns.
  3. Review and release — an IT administrator reviews the agent configuration, verifies that it only uses approved read-only connectors, and approves it.
  4. Shared efficiency — the administrator publishes the agent to the entire marketing group. The manager begins using it immediately, and three other team members adopt the same vetted tool later that week.

A single administrative review unlocks safe, reusable automation across an entire department.
