What is RivalBot
RivalBot is your built-in assistant for getting value from Rival. In plain language, it helps you spot automation opportunities, find the right agents and workflows, and build new ones.
Instead of navigating complex menus or writing code, you describe the result you want, and RivalBot identifies or assembles the agents, workflows, and functions to accomplish it. RivalBot always operates within the governance and guardrails your admins have set.
Key capabilities
Section titled “Key capabilities”- Conversational assistant and Q&A — answers general questions, generates content, summarizes documents, and provides support on platform usage and internal processes using your organization’s knowledge base.
- Automation discovery — analyzes your daily tasks and team processes to highlight repetitive work that can be automated using existing company assets.
- Marketplace search — searches your organization’s marketplace to recommend pre-approved agents, workflows, and functions that match your goal.
- Guided creation — generates drafts for multi-step workflows, autonomous agents, or standalone functions from plain language descriptions, prompting you for the details, rules, and parameters it needs.
Why RivalBot matters

- Lowers technical barriers — department leads, analysts, and business staff can build and run automations without software development experience.
- Admin-controlled capabilities — administrators define exact permission boundaries and usage rules for RivalBot across teams, so everything it generates follows enterprise safety rules.
- Policy alignment — any workflow or agent drafted with RivalBot still passes through your organization’s standard approval gates before executing high-risk actions.
A quick example: weekly invoice summaries

- Interactive drafting — RivalBot checks connected financial tools, drafts a multi-step workflow, and asks clarifying questions about date thresholds and target channels.
- Review and launch — the manager reviews the generated setup, enters the required parameters, and launches the schedule — a working automation in minutes.
