Agent Marketplace
The marketplace is the hub for published Rival Agents. Anyone can browse it; adopting an agent — which copies it into your organization — requires a Rival account.
Browsing & discovery
Section titled “Browsing & discovery”The marketplace shows a grid of published listings. You can filter to agents by type, refine by category, search names and descriptions, and sort by most installed, newest, or top-rated. Each card shows the icon, name, one-line description, version, rating, and an Adopt button.
The listing page
Section titled “The listing page”Opening an agent reveals its name, icon, description, and version, plus:
- Adopt and Trial Chat buttons.
- The required connectors it uses (Slack, Google Drive, etc.), with explanations.
- The attached tools and their purposes.
- A read-only view of its Personality & Guardrails.
- A full changelog and a reviews section.
Trial Chat
Section titled “Trial Chat”Trial Chat lets you test an agent’s published configuration without adopting it — a quick preview of its persona and behavior. Full access (memory, connectors, history) comes after adoption.
Adopting an agent
Section titled “Adopting an agent”Clicking Adopt copies the listing into your organization as an independent agent with its own ID, then drops you into its editor or chat and prompts you to connect any required connectors.
Adoption creates a completely separate copy: your adopted agent keeps its own memory, connectors, and history. Later publisher updates don’t change your version, and your changes don’t flow back.
Transfers on adoption: persona details, guardrail configuration, knowledge sources captured at publication, and the list of required tools and connectors. Doesn’t transfer: connector authorizations (you reconnect), the publisher’s conversation history, memory, and any of their settings or keys.
The enterprise difference: an approved catalog
Section titled “The enterprise difference: an approved catalog”In the self-serve product you browse everything. In Rival Enterprise, your marketplace is filtered to the set your admin has approved for your team — so the shelf you’re browsing is already vetted. If you need something that isn’t there, you can request it, and an admin can approve it for you and the wider team. See Adopting approved agents.
A quick example
Section titled “A quick example”A support manager browses the approved catalog, finds an agent that summarizes long ticket threads, uses Trial Chat to confirm its tone, and adopts it. She reconnects the one connector it needs, shares it with her team, and within a week it’s part of how everyone works.
