Adopting workflows from the Marketplace

The Rival Enterprise Marketplace is your organization’s curated catalog of pre-approved AI assets. Adopting a workflow brings a pre-built, multi-step process template into your personal workspace, so you do not have to build the automation from scratch.

A Marketplace workflow is a complete, ready-to-run automation sequence built for a specific business task. When you adopt one, Rival creates a copy of the template in your workspace inventory, pre-configured with the correct logic, triggers, and step sequence.

Where a function is a single building block you attach to something else, a workflow is the finished process you run directly.

  1. Browse the Marketplace. Click Marketplace in the main left sidebar, then select the Workflows tab or filter by department such as Sales, HR, Finance, or Customer Support.

  2. Review the details. Open a workflow card to see its details pane:

    • Required connectors — the enterprise tools needed to run it.
    • Runtime inputs — the details you supply when launching a run, such as file links, date ranges, or email addresses.
    • Approval checkpoints — any sensitive steps that will require human sign-off during execution.
  3. Adopt it. If the workflow carries an Approved badge, clicking Adopt adds it to your personal Workflows inventory immediately. If it shows a Requires Approval badge, clicking Request Access sends an authorization request to your workspace administrator, and you are notified once it is approved.

  4. Launch and run. Go to your personal Workflows tab in the left sidebar and open the newly adopted workflow. Confirm your personal connector links if prompted, enter your inputs, and click Run.

  • Personal customization — adjust default input values or notification channels for your own runs.
  • Version updates — if the original creator updates the underlying template in the Marketplace, you get a prompt in your workspace offering the upgrade. See Versions and publishing.
